<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><?xml-stylesheet href="http://www.blogger.com/styles/atom.css" type="text/css"?><feed xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom' xmlns:openSearch='http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearchrss/1.0/' xmlns:georss='http://www.georss.org/georss' xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0'><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5699211822394065457</id><updated>2012-02-16T16:47:19.216-08:00</updated><title type='text'>Leadership Pre Blog</title><subtitle type='html'></subtitle><link rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#feed' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://my-leader.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5699211822394065457/posts/default?max-results=100'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://my-leader.blogspot.com/'/><link rel='hub' href='http://pubsubhubbub.appspot.com/'/><author><name>Bob</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/13384800781406465770</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><generator version='7.00' uri='http://www.blogger.com'>Blogger</generator><openSearch:totalResults>1</openSearch:totalResults><openSearch:startIndex>1</openSearch:startIndex><openSearch:itemsPerPage>100</openSearch:itemsPerPage><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5699211822394065457.post-8611916093606864947</id><published>2011-09-06T08:20:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2011-09-06T08:20:05.891-07:00</updated><title type='text'></title><content type='html'>&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It is said that people are born to be a leader.&amp;nbsp; I  personally disagree with this statement.&amp;nbsp; Leadership, in my opinion is  about being able to manipulate one or more people into doing whatever  must be done.&amp;nbsp; Although the term manipulation has a more negative  connotation, it is really necessary in order to distribute the illusion  of control.&amp;nbsp; When I think of a leadership class, the first thing that  comes into mind is being provided a 'guided tour' of how we ourselves  can be leaders in our own manner.&amp;nbsp; Because everyone is different, this  class, I feel, will show everyone what it means to be a leader.&amp;nbsp; The  class will provide an outline of previous leaders and what seems to make  a leader.&amp;nbsp; There is obviously no set way to become a great leader and  therefore we must take this outline that is provided and mold it into  their lives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It is  foolish to think that by taking a leadership class, one will  automatically become a leader overnight or even at all.&amp;nbsp; Although I do  not believe you are not born to be a leader, I feel you grow to become a  leader.&amp;nbsp; I've seen&amp;nbsp; few articles that described life changing  experiences which made people leaders or just the 'Alphas' of the world  that quickly dominate the spotlight and capture the crowd.&amp;nbsp; Not everyone  can be a leader.&amp;nbsp; Personalities vary so much that what works for one  person may not work for another and besides, there can only be so many  leaders.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; This  'Leadership' class might just show what it takes to be a leader.&amp;nbsp; It may  show examples of the personalities of common and uncommon leaders from  the past and present.
